Many of us wonder why God would allow the passing of a 13 year old. In such deep saddness for the family and others who are experiencing that tragic loss, consider that maybe God had a special plan for Jamie, or your loved one. Even though he will be missed terribly, maybe God needed him in heaven more than on earth right now. That thought may not take away the pain you are experiencing at this time, but it may help you down the road.

Jamie Kassanits of Roselle Jamie Kassanits, 13, died June 12, 2013. Jamie was the loving son of Frank and Patricia (nee Long). He was a protective brother and mentor to his sister Gracie. Dear grandson of Angela and the late Frank Kassanits, Ray Long, and Mary (Robert) Wulff. Jamie was an Honor Student at Medinah Middle School and loved swimming, Boy Scouts, and soccer. He was also passionate about all things electronic.
